Superintendent, Don D. Morgan

Superintendent Morgan, said "I thought I was ready to retire, but I wasn't. The opportunity to be the interim Superintendent for Shiloh and get back into being part of the educational system was too good to pass up." He started his duties on July 1st and will be working 120 days during the year. Mr. Morgan is looking forward to meeting the staff and the students; and working with the Board to provide a positive experience for all involved with Shiloh Schools.

Don Morgan came out of retirement to take the Intrim Superintendet position at Shiloh. All his experience is in small districts similar to Shiloh. He previously served as Jr-Sr High Principal at Windsor from 2002-2006 and was Tower Hill Superintendent from 1998-2002. The Shiloh area feels familiar to him, because he was K-12 Principal at Kansas from 1993-1998. As Unit Principal he was no stranger to long hours often working an 80 hour week with school and night events.

Mr. Morgan started his education career teaching humanities, photography, and English in Atwood Hammond, Casey, and Lovington. During that time he also served two years in the military. For the past four years he has continued to work with the Regional Office to certify school bus drivers. He brings almost 40 years of educational experience to our district.

Please stop in and introduce yourself if you are in the building this summer.
