Consent Agenda Items
and Bills were approved by the Board.
Transportation/Maintenance
and Administrative Team Reports were given.
Several parents spoke
to the Board on the issue of keeping junior high cheerleading.
The Board approved
the date of April 7, 2003, for the canvassing of votes and the
reorganization of the Board of Education.
The Board voted to
keep junior high cheerleading in place.
The Board approved
discontinuing 6th grade boys' basketball and make 6th grade
part of the 7th grade team.
Discussion took place
about equipment expenditures and to find out what types of other
equipment we might be purchasing this year. A request was given
to make sure that we are not spending just to spend.
The Reorganization
Committee Report was presented. During this time the public
forum was also discussed.
Executive Session
