Announcements and
Discussion: Reduction-in-Force. If the Board is going to RIF
staff it needs to be discussed at the February meeting and finalized
at the March meeting. The Board doesn’t foresee having
to RIF any staff at this time.
Freebairn asked if
some students who require a one-on-one aide move out of the
district what would those aides do? Principal Kittell said that
they would very quickly absorb those staff into other areas.
Superintendent Acklin
opened discussion that if they are going to drop Golf as a sport
they need to make a decision by February in order to cancel

in tournaments as an individual as long as they have an employee
of the school district go with them.
