BOARD OF EDUCATION
March 29 - SPECIAL MEETING - 7:00 PM
President Means called the meeting to order at 7:00 PM
Present: Freebairn, Hales, Hutchinson, Means, Young
Absent: Kile
Others Present: Superintendent Hall, Principal Hettmansberger, Pam Kelly
President Means welcomed everyone to the meeting.
Kile joined the meeting at 7:02 PM
Pam Kelly read a letter to the Board regarding classroom management of a teacher and education of special needs students.
Dr. Hall replied that this is a sensitive personnel issue and the board must be careful of their response and course of action. No parental notification or statement has been provided on the advice of the district’s attorney. He will contact the parent tomorrow and provide an update.
Board entered Executive Session at 7:10 PM and returned to Open Session at 7:30 PM.
Board approved resignation of Cindy Reese with 30 days pay.
Meeting adjourned at 7:31 PM.
