Students in English III explore American classics. They are allowed the opportunity to do creative and researched writing. The second semester concludes with writing, studying literature and reviewing English terms, grammar and usage, and mechanics. Students will also review for the English A.C.T. exams.

English IV splits up into two separate semesters. One semester consists of English Literature and will end with a study of research techniques and the writing of a research paper. Writing will be completed on college level.
