General Science

Lab Science

This is the required course for all freshmen. It provides an overview of high school science, focusing on the three main areas: life science, earth science, and physical science. In the life science portion, students will learn about basic biological concepts as well as environmental concerns. Geology, weather, and the solar system will be covered in the earth science portion. Physical science topics include matter and energy. Instructional strategies will include lecture/discussion with a variety of lab activities.
